What We Offer at the British Club
- Every Friday from 10.00-14.00 hrs we run a variety of activities from lunches, games of mahjong to talks and workshops in the comfortable and spacious premises of the American Women's Club.
- You will have free access to our own up-to-date library of English books on Fridays
- If you are 65+ we offer Senior Coffee Mornings (on the 3rd Friday of every month).
- Facilities exist for Parents and Tots.
- Partake in our popular regular day outings/tours to places of interest / exhibitions / unique restaurants.
- Enthusiastic bridge players are welcome to join our 24-point British Bridge sessions at the AWC on Wednesdays .
- Anyone is welcome to join our monthly, Discussion Group at the AWC (contact bchlibrary@gmail.com) and/or our monthly Film Club(contact bchfilmgroup@gmail.com).
- Come and Join our thriving Golf group at Delfland.
Join in lots of special "British-style", more general events throughout the year such as the Strawberry & Cream tea (June), Queen's Champagne Birthday lunch (June), Spring Quiz Evening, Spring Texas Scramble (golf) and Anniversary Dinner (October), annual Christmas Fayre with members of the Church of St John's and St. Philip's, The Hague (2010-November 27st) plus traditional Christmas lunch in December.

Annual Membership - 90 euros per person.
There is a an additional one-off administration fee of 10 euros.
We have also started a system of "rolling" membership if you want to join us immediately. This means that you will have your own renewal date in 12 months time.
Membership Benefits
- With your BCH membership you also get Associate Membership Status of the American Women's Club and access to its own activities, outing and events programme.
- The AWC Clubhouse has its own library, coffee shop, gift shop, meeting room and crèche.
- Our monthly Newsletter will be posted and/or emailed to your home address as well as on the Newsletter page.
- In April you will also be issued with a sponsored Members Year Book.
- Your Membership Card entitles you to a daycard at VEN Cash & Carry in Forepark, Leidschendam as well as other Sligro outlets in The Hague and Leiden.
- If you bring your BCH Membership Card and 7.50 euros along to the American Book Center; you will be entitled to 10% reduction of all your purchases.
